I want to be your school board representative. As a parent with two elementary aged daughters and a son at each of our middle schools, I am ready to serve at the district level. I am acutely aware of the challenges we parents face as we try to provide the best education for our children. In preparation for public service, I have regularly attended School Board meetings for the past two years. I am ready to sit on the other side of the table. I will bring an open mind to the School Board with an honest commitment to provide the very best educational policy. My vision is to see our middle schools evolve into choice schools that work in partnership with the high schools. I have demonstrated volunteer leadership as a founding member of the Crittenden PTA, president of Slater's PTA since 2001, and former chair of Slater's School Site Council. Furthermore, I am a member of MVWSD's Middle School Task Force, The Mountain View Educational Foundation and an active community volunteer.
