Green can? For garden waste...the time has come...For years homeowners have been hauling out a heavy black trash can because they fit all their regular trash and the garden waste (which can be considerable) into that can. Years ago the idea of adding a green can for garden waste was explored, but was not seen as feasible at that time. I would like to revisit this issue. Would you like a separate can just for your garden waste? Would it be easier to push the can to the street? I would explore the possibility of adding this service. But my first priority would be to maintain the user fees without any increases. If this service would increase that user fee, it is an idea that can wait, unless you, the paying public voice your opinions and support the green can, and the increase, if there is one. |
