This information is provided by the candidate

The best interests of Marin's residents are served when the District and the Hospital work together on the real health care needs facing our community.

There are very significant issues facing Marin General Hospital including seismic planning, physician and nursing shortages, mental health, and new facility planning. I strongly support working cooperatively with our hospital on these issues to address the present and future needs of the community.

I oppose the very expensive law suit against the hospital which takes money away from patient care. Marin General is one of our community's strengths. The best interests of our residents can best be served by keeping it financially healthy and able to provide quality care.

I am running again because I provide a constructive and positive viewpoint to those issues facing our hospital and my background in business and community service brings a broad and valuable perspective to the District Board.
