Oppose Measure O

•Protect essential services

•Maintain livablility of community

Crime

•Develop incentives for recruitment and retention of police officers

•Provide school resource officers for all schools

•Support critical violence prevention programs

Water

•Balance growth with water concerns

•Address issues of salt water intrusion

•Develop Carr Lake as both recreational and aquifer recharge facilities

•Protect valuable agricultural land

•Work in partnership with Ag and Community to build affordable housing

Transportation

•Wider critical commute arterials

•Build parking garage downtown

•Extend caltrain to Salinas

Library

•Build a Library in North Salinas

Infrastructure

•Continue sidewalk repair and street tree replacement program

•Continue street and road improvement

•Upgrade Sherwood Municipal pool
