Bob Davis was born in Arpaler, Pittsburgh County, Oklahoma in 1936. He has four grown children and seven grandchildren.

Bob's family came to California in 1945. he graduated from Jordan High School in Long Beach. After graduating from the U.S Navy Hospital Corps School in San Diego, he became a surgical scrub-corpsman (the doctor's assistant during surgery) assigned to the Marine Corps. When our nation reduced the number of active duty military in the wake of the Korean War, the Navy placed him in the Ready Reserves. In 1962, he received an Honorable Discharge from the Navy. He became an electrician, passed the California Civil Service Electrician I test and in 1968 joined the United Mine Workers as an electrician.

He is a licensed California Contractor, having a General Building and a General Electrical license. As a licensed Real Estate agent , he is a member of the National Association of Realtors and Pacific West Realtors Association.

Bob, a delegate to the Electoral College in 1996, is known for his campaigns on many issues.These issues include: random diversity as a product of individual freedom of choice, institutionalizing sexual predators after they complete their criminal sentence for the protection of the public, fail-safe trigger locks on firearms, a fiduciary duty for attorneys to promptly file all appeals for their client to be heard by the court at one time, patients rights, privacy rights, rights and protection from identity theft.
