Ray's life and family

A 4th generation Sonoma County resident, born on a prune ranch near Healdsburg.

Received BS from Cal State Hayward and an MBA from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. Served on the adjunct facility of Golden Gate U conducting seminars on Accounting and Management information systems.

His Career in finance and Information systems has included positions as:

Director of Financial Accounting for Pacific Bell

Division manager, Accounting Standards, Bell Communications Research

During the breakup of the Bell System, he managed a Federal Communications

Chairman of Board and CEO of D.E.A.F. Trust, a $20 million trust that provides telephone service to deaf customers

He is the author of Accounting for Fixed assets, 1994 published by John Wiley & Sons. This book is the first comprehensive work on accounting for Property, Plant and Equipment.

Ray has served in a number of volunteer positions including:

President of Sonoma County chapter

Ray lives on a family farm outside Petaluma with his wife, Ettamarie where they raise pumpkins and flowers. They have 3 married children who live and work in Sonoma County, and five grandchildren attend Sonoma County schools.
