Because of the diversity and extent of his experience, Terry has been endorsed by retired San Luis Obispo County Superior Court Judges Edward Chidlaw and Richard Kirkpatrick. He is also endorsed by retired Sheriff John Pierce and retired Sheriff's Lt. Jack Maher and John Zubrick. After interviewing all seven candidates, the Atascadero Police Association voted overwhelmingly to support and endorse Terry.
