The issues for my campaign include: THE BEAUTIFICATION OF THE DELHI BUSINESS DISTRICT - I intend to work with the Delhi Business Association and florists to get flower gardens and trees planted along Delhi Road. We need to eliminate that barren wire and telephone pole skyline and replace it with the friendly quaint small town rural look that we had years ago. DELHI DOES NOT NEED SECTION 8 HOUSING - Delhi does not have a poverty stricken area. Most Township citizens do not need Section 8 housing assistance. The City of Cincinnati is not looking at the welfare of our community, but at a means to move a problem they created to our neighborhoods. PRESERVE GREEN SPACE IN DELHI - New development has been occurring in Delhi as long as I have been alive. New development is great but we need to plan these new neighborhoods to have an occasional corner lot landscaped and kept as a small park. CITIZEN RELIEF TEAM AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT - We are a community, so let's organize and behave as a community. Senior and junior (for children) relief teams can help one another. If a home gets flooded, let's help the unfortunate victims clean up. If a storm knocks down a tree or blows off a roof, let's get involved. If a neighbor suffers a tragedy, let's help the family (baby sit, cook food, cut grass, shovel snow, etc.) Let's help our neighbors when they need it. I WANT TO WORK WITH THE COMMUNITY FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE COMMUNITY - I want to be your representative. You tell me what you need and I will do what I can as your Trustee to get it done. |
