- District Vision
-
The goal of public education is to turn our children into self-sufficient law-abiding adults. Parents, teachers, administrators, and board members each have a well defined role in this process. We must all work together in a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect to accomplish this goal.
- Union Philosophy
-
I support the right of all workers to form collective bargaining units, agency shop rules, binding arbitration for grievances, union representation on district committees, use of district employees for essential services, and prevailing wage guidelines where these employees do not exist.
- Vote for a Change
-
Our current school board has failed: 7 of 8 administrators quit, we have a 20% annual staff turnover rate, we have no long-term educational plan, we have no permanent district offices, and we have educational troubles at Turnbull Learning Academy. These failures are beginning to negatively affect our children's education. Regardless of who is at fault, the current school board is responsible. On November 6th, vote for a change.
