Continue San Carlos' Positive ProgressBy Don EatonCandidate for Councilmember; City of San Carlos; 4 Year Term | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Work toward specific goals that will carry San Carlos toward a secure future. Our Council has aggresively pursued strengthening our infrastructure. These improvements include our new library, and youth center. We have worked for flood control and sewer improvements. We have improved safety and traffic through our grade separations and sophisticated signalization, beautified downtown and landscaped El Camino medians, to name some. Now, I would like to continue our improvement projects, specifically the revitalization of our heavily used parks and the continued upgrading of our downtown retail core. Additional challenges will appear for the lands formerly occupied by the railroad's temporary tracks and recruiting appropriate business to populate our existing industrial area and newly acquired Harbor Industrial Area. I will continue to promote a healthy retail and commercial community and be vigilant to ensure top quality health and safety services for our residents. These things are the building blocks of a progressive and vital community and they will carry our community toward a secure future. |
