Political Philosophy for Fel Anthony Amistad
Candidate for |

I feel that an elected public servant should work with the people in the community. I strongly feel that a school board member has a duty to be accountable to the citizens of the District. Fiscal responsibility and ensuring that taxpayer dollars are well spent are part of the equation to maximize resources for the schools, students, teachers and administrators. I believe in an open, honest school District that listens to the people to ensure fairness and equal treatment of everyone. I am dedicated to keeping our schools safe and sound. I want this generation and future generations of students to excel in functional, school facilities. As a trustee, I will earn your trust and work diligently to represent everyone. I will respect this office and keep my promise to you to ensure fairness and competence in carrying out my duties. As a citizen and taxpayer in this community, I want to reach out to everyone and frequently get your thoughts and feelings about the District. Feel free to contact me anytime. I want open dialogue. I am your public servant. This District is ours. Let's share our responsibilities so that our students, who are our first priority, get the best, quality education. Thank you very much for your vote. |
