Clear Communication is Key: Parents, staff and teachers often feel left out of decision making in our schools. People want to know what's going on, and want to be heard.

School Safety and Respect: We must teach our children to act with respect toward all people. Parents have a right to know what their children will be taught, to view and control exposure to controversial materials, and to expect that their children and they will be treated with courtesy and respect. Schools must be safe places for our children.

Teacher Salaries: We expect the best from our teachers; in return we must be able to offer them a competitive salary package. Other nearby districts have faced the same problems-what's the best solution available?

Measure A, School Site Improvements: The state gives Novato about $250 thousand yearly for maintenance, but our repair/renovation backlog is $220 MILLION! Measure A must succeed for the good of our community. Unsafe and unsightly schools lower property values and affect children and families. Measure A is about the future. Join me in supporting Measure A even if you don't support the current administration.

I'm Roger Collins: As a School Board member, I will be a strong advocate for all children and their education. I will encourage and set an example of respectful communication. I will earn the trust and confidence of all by working collaboratively and openly with parents, teachers, staff, community, and the Administration.
