By Anthonette Vidal

Candidate for Governing Board Member; Palmdale Elementary School District

This information is provided by the candidate
I respectfully your vote on Nov. 6, 2001 general election for Palmdale School District Trustee
When elected with your support:

1. I will hold administration ACCOUNTABLE when they violate Board policies.

2. I will visit all schools in the district to obtain feed back on what the schools, children, and staff need.

3. I will not approve any contracts that are placed for my vote unless there are 3 bids, and the company can deliver what they promise.

4. I will seek to have the school board meetings televised so the public can be aware of the actions of their elected board.

5. I will seek to lower the student to teacher ratio, by questioning the non teaching positions at the district office and their duties.

6. I will question all of the superintendent requests for expenditure, to see if they will benefit the children.

7. I will support the Brown Act, Education Code, and parent's rights.

8. I will make sure administration stick to their contract, and not give them outragous raises specially when the test scores show a decrease in knowledge.

9. I will seek the support of other board members to lobby Sacramento for more funds for public education, compared to other states we are below the national average.

Your support is highly desired in the form of your vote, also donations to my campaign will help me let the community know of my campaign platform.

Unfortunately some of my opponents have the support of Developers and their money. I AM NOT WILLING TO SELL MY VOTE FOR THEIR SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your support,
Anthonette Vidal
