Children are our future. We must work together to collectively make the right choices for the Westside School District.The Westside School District is one of many fine districts in the valley but, it could be better. We need innovative thinkers who can bring new ideas to play and we need people who can 'think outside the box' on issues such as collective bargaining, overcrowding, school construction, and special education. We need to understand and better manage our district budget. We need a common sense approach that provides more hours for our classified employees so our teachers can teach. We need to ensure that the superintendent and the district live-up to the contract obligations that were agreed. Most importantly, we need to respect each other. All of the above has a direct affect on the quality of education that our children receive. It's all tied together! I say that with the cooperation of parents, the community, classified employees, and educators working together, we will make the Westside School District the best in the valley. And collectively, make the right decisions for our children's future. On November 6th, please vote for Ralph Rodriguez for the Westside School District Board or Trustees. |
