PARTNERSHIP, ACCOUNTABILITY, ACHIEVEMENT

We need a stronger PARTNERSHIP between parents and teachers to ensure the saftey and education of our children. We need greater ACCOUNTABILITY over the district's budget, so that every dime is wisely spent to promote student ACHIEVEMENT. We need to treat education professionals like the professionals they are. We need Calvin H.A. Robinson on the Antelope Valley Union High School District Board of Trustees.

If elected, Calvin H.A. Robinson will:

o Demand greater accountability in the budget, so that our children have first priority.

o Promote fair bidding practices among vendors, because healthy competition ensures that we get the most for our money, which leaves more money to be spent on students.

o Consult with the public and education professionals.

o Find the best and the brightest administrators by reforming the district's hiring practices with interviews, and not merely appointments.

o Recruit the best teachers from within California, and stop wasting money with out of state recruiting.

o Improve student safety.

As a teacher himself, he will put our kid's interests first. All kids can succeed.
