Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Bonita Unified School District

I have lived in the city of La Verne for over 20 years. I am married to Tom and we have two children who attend Bonita high School.

I have been actively involved in the education of our children since our oldest began kindergarten at Roynon Elementary School. I have served on the PTA at Roynon in many capacities including a two-year term as co-President. I also served on Ramona Middle School's and Bonita High School's PTAs as well as various positions at the council level including a two-year term as Bonita Council PTA President.

As a member of School Site Council at Roynon Elementary and Ramona Middle School, I served in the capacities of Secretary and President. I am currently serving on School Site Council at Bonita High School. Over the past few years I have been a member of various district committees including curriculum selection, inverveiw boards for Principal, Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent. In 1999 a District/Community group was formed for the purpose of developing a Strategic Plan for Bonita Unified School District. I was a member of this committee.
