Most of my years have been spent in Southern California, residing in Altadena. A native of Idaho, while a student at Pasadena City College, I was drafted into the Army to service in the Vietnam War. Assigned to Fort Ord, California for bootcamp, then stationed briefly in Germany.

After service, returned to finish studies at P.C.C., earning an A.A. degree in Psychology. Contined education at Cal State University Los Angeles, earning a B.A. in Graphic Arts. Enjoyed teaching students at Alternate School sites at YMCA's, earning a Teaching Credential.

Currently an employee with the County of Los Angeles for the past 25 years, specifically with the Arboretum, Chief Administrative Office and Department of Public Works as a Computer Graphic Designer. We promote public awareness to conserve natural resources by developing programs and literature to recycle, reduce, and reuse our waste generated by the population everyday.

A widower, I have one son, Neil, and we reside in Altadena. As an 8 year-old at Norma Coombs School, Neil has attended Pasadena Youth Camp and Griffith Park Boys' Camp.

My experience as member of Orator's Circle Toastmaster International Communication and Leadership Club at Public Works, including serving as President, has enabled employees to achieve both their professional and personal goals. As your Trustee, I will work to do the same for P.C.C. students, faculty and staff.
