Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Cerritos Community College District

Born July 10,1949 in Shreveport, Louisana. Family moved to California in 1956, to Willowbrook(Compton). Attended school in Compton, graduating from John C. Fremont High School in Los Angeles, some Junior college at Trade Tech College.

Joined postal service in 1969 as a clerk, then letter carrier. I have worked various management positions, prior to being appointed to the position of postmaster in the city of Compton in 1990 and later being appointed to postmaster in the city of Lawndale in 1998.

I have two daughters(33 and 13) one son (30) and a step-Daughter(21), one of whom attended Cerritos.

I am very active in the Compton School District as well as Community College District and numerous organizations,ie Compton Rotary, Business Advisory Council,School-to-Work, State Dept. of Rehab,etc.
