Support Shared-Governance

By Robert L. Cody

Candidate for Governing Board Member; Pasadena Area Community College District; Trustee Area 1

As a member of the PCC community, I support the faculty and staff's desire to eliminate inefficient micro-management and introduce shared decision-making.
As a member of the PCC community, I support the faculty and staff's desire to eliminate inefficient micro-management and introduce shared decision-making. The major cause of the college's morale problem is the failure of the administrative leadership to seek and use the expertise of the faculty and staff to meet the serious challenges facing PCC. Why after the completion of a $100 million master plan are there still too few classrooms and too little parking? Why are there no additional classrooms in the proposed new master plan? As your Trustee I will bring new administrative leadership that will work with the faculty and staff to solve the challenges facing PCC.
