Steve Saltzman has the right combination of proven experience and leadership -- 10 years in government, 20 years in business and 30 years in civic affairs, and a lifelong resident of the 5th District--to lead Los Angeles as we enter a new century with new issues to address and old problems to solve.

Steve Saltzman is an entertainment and Internet industry executive with more than 20 years experience in business and the private sector. Steve understands the key industries that drive LA's regional economy and the critically important role, that government can and must play in promoting continued economic growth, prosperity and economic development.

Steve Saltzman brings a lifetime of experience as an effective government problem solver having worked at every level of government: Westside Deputy Mayor to The Honorable Tom Bradley, L.A. County Energy Commissioner, U.S. Senate Special Assistant for Energy, Oceans and Environmental Affairs, United Nations Consultant, National Science Foundation Editor and President of Greater L.A. Energy Coalition.

Steve Saltzman lives in the same neighborhood he grew up in. 4 generations of Saltzman's have lived in the same homeowners' Associaiton for 63 years. Steve lives in West LA with his wife Marie and two sons, Christopher (18) and Jonathan (6).
