  • I chaired Mayor Tom Bradley's Advisory Committee on Education for six years.
  • I rallied community support for the Menorah Project, which now helps to provide affordable housing for seniors.
  • I served on the Citizens Advisory Committee on Student Integration (CACSI).
  • I was a founder of the Open School, the first community-initiated magnet school in the L.A. School District.

  • I will make it a priority to ensure people get quality services from the City - street repair, parking enforcement, potholes fixed, trees trimmed.
  • I will make it a priority to bring back the highly successful Senior Lead Officer Program.
  • I will make it a priority to reform the business tax system and make L.A. a more business-friendly city

Working Towards a Responsive City Goverment
Running for office is new to me, but getting involved in our neighborhoods is not. I've lived and worked in the Valley for nearly 30 years. And, I know our neighborhoods do not receive their fair share of city services. It's time for a change. I will be a strong, effective advocate for you and your neighbors.
