Los Angeles County, CA | April 3, 2001 Election |
Campaign StatementBy F. Paul Russell, Jr.Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Inglewood; Seat 2 | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Initial Campaign StatementInglewood is changing and growing with important issues that require careful consideration by concerned elected officials. Those issues include but are not limited to the expansion of the airport, mitigation of the effects of air traffic on our community, raising the level of public safety, and preserving and improving the City to the benefit of all the residents. My experience at multiple jobs while attending school, as a Marine officer and as an insurance claims adjuster, supervisor, manager and investigator have given me the ability to analyze facts, compare alternatives, and reach good decisions. Those experiences in the private sector combined with my increasing involvement with Inglewood City business at various levels over recent years give me the talent to meet today's challenges and prepare for the future. I look forward to the opportunity to work with people in and out of government to reach our mutual goals of a clean, safe City of which we can all be proud. |
