Candidate for
City Treasurer; City of Azusa

I grew up in Azusa and have lived here my entire life. I went to school here and have family all over the city so I plan on living here for many years to come. I have a bachelor's degree in finance and I currently work for a well known investment banking firm in Los Angeles. I have the knowledge and background to do the job of city treasurer and will use the necessary resources to ensure that Azusa's financial position remains both stable and liquid, while at the same time maximizing its returns. We need someone that is familiar with the position and what it entails; someone who is familiar with equities, bonds, mutual funds, asset allocation, diversification, portfolio management, and overall financial reporting. I deal with these things on a daily basis and I will use these skills to fulfill my duties as city treasurer. I have seen many changes in Azusa throughout the years. I'd like to do all that I can to make sure that future changes in Azusa will be positive and productive for all its residents. I will use my role as treasurer to support the mayor, city council, employees, and most importantly, the residents of Azusa to make our city the model city of the San Gabriel Valley.
