Shall Ordinance No. 2000-013 be adopted which amends the City's business license tax to 1) repeal the exemption that allows some businesses generating gross receipts of less than $5,000 to pay no tax and 2) require out-of-town businesses to pay business license taxes based on a formula to ensure that all gross receipts are counted during a calendar year?

Measure Azusa-B. Ordinance. Business Tax. Flat Tax on Rental Units -- City of Azusa
Shall Ordinance No. 2000-014 be adopted which amends the City's business license tax on rental properties (of four or more units) to charge a flat tax on each unit, indexed to inflation, instead of the current formula based on gross receipts?

Measure Claremont-A. Ordinance. Taxpayer Protection Act -- City of Claremont
Shall the ordinance establishing a Taxpayer Protection Act to be added as Chapter 2.56 of the Claremont Municipal Code be adopted?

Measure Gardena-A. Business Licenses. Fee Increase. New Classification for Non-Residential Rental Property. -- City of Gardena
. Shall Measure A, adding definitions and other general provisions to the business license section of the Gardena Municipal Code and effective 07/01/01, increasing the license fees for approximately 34 license classifications of businesses and adding a new classification for non-residential rental property, be adopted?

Measure Hawaiian_Gardens-A. Authorization for Hiring of City Clerk by City Administrator. -- City of Hawaiian Gardens
Shall the City Administrator have the permanent authority to hire a City Clerk as a City employee at the expiration of the current term or earlier vacancy of the office?

Measure Hawaiian_Gardens-B. Transient Occupancy Tax -- City of Hawaiian Gardens
Shall the City Council adopt an ordinance which imposes a 9% tax on persons staying 30 days or less in hotels, motels, and similar lodgings within the City?

Measure La_Habra_Heights-A. Ordinance. Renewal of 1997 Appropriation Limit for Fire and Life-Safety Services -- City of La Habra Heights
Shall an Ordinance be adopted to renew the City's authority to spend existing revenues from the special fire tax approved by two-thirds of the City's voters in 1997 to provide essential fire and life-safety services by renewing the 1997 voter-approved amendment to the City's appropriation limit?

Measure La_Habra_Heights-B. Ordinance. Appointment of Planning Commission Members by City Councilmembers -- City of La Habra Heights
Shall an Ordinance be adopted to authorize each City Councilmember to appoint a member of the Planning Commission and the entire Council to appoint an alternative member of the Commission?

Measure Palos_Verdes_Estates-A-01. Fire and Paramedic Services Special Tax Measure -- City of Palos Verdes Estates
Shall an ordinance be adopted to levy a Special Tax on each eligible parcel in the City to continue funding the present level of fire and paramedic services through June 30, 2007, as a replacement for the current Fire Suppression Benefit Assessment District?

Measure Manhattan_Beach-2001-A. Coastal Conservation Act -- City of Manhattan Beach
Shall the voters adopt an initiative ordinance of the City of Manhattan Beach amending the Manhattan Beach Local Coastal Program to establish a new procedure for regulating temporary events on the beach, establishing a coastal conservation fund in which all proceeds of permit fees for coastal development permits for temporary events shall be deposited, prohibiting all events on the beach requiring paid admission, banning permanent and regulating temporary commercial advertising on the beach, requiring four beach clean-up days each summer and requiring that the City ensure weekly ocean water testing?

Measure Pasadena-A. 710 Freeway Extension -- City of Pasadena
Shall an Initiative Ordinance of the City of Pasadena be adopted to declare the policy of the City of Pasadena to be in favor of completing the 710 Freeway extension between the I-210 and the I-10 Freeways, and to declare that such policy could not be changed or repealed without a vote of the people?

Measure Pasadena-B. Prohibition on Public Officials' Receiving Public or Campaign Advantage from Recipients of Public Benefits. -- City of Pasadena
Shall the Pasadena City Charter be amended to prohibit elected and appointed local public officials from receiving what is specified as a "public or campaign advantage" from recipients of certain public benefits?

Measure Pasadena-C. Preparation of Citywide Transportation and Traffic Management Plan. Requirement for City to Evaluate and Implement Certain Local and Federal Plans Before Taking Position on 710 Freeway Extension. -- City of Pasadena
Shall an Ordinance be adopted to require preparation of a Citywide Transportation and Traffic Management Plan and to direct that the City take no position supporting or opposing the 710 Freeway extension until that Plan and federally funded traffic improvement measures required in the Federal Government's Record of Decision approving the 710 Freeway extension are fully implemented and evaluated?

Measure Redondo_Beach-A. Re-election of Mayor or Councilmember Following Break in Service. -- City of Redondo Beach
Shall Section 26 of Article XXVI of the Redondo Beach City Charter be amended to permit a person to be re-elected to the office of Mayor or the office of Councilmember for two terms after a break in service of three years?

Measure Redondo_Beach-B. Re-election of School Board Member Following Break in Service. -- City of Redondo Beach
Shall Section 16 of Article XVI of the Redondo Beach City Charter be amended to permit a person to be re-elected to the office of School Board Member for two terms after a break in service of three years?

Measure Redondo_Beach-C. Public Works Contracts -- City of Redondo Beach
Shall Article XIX of the Redondo Beach City Charter be amended to allow for design-build and design-build-operate public works contracts?

Measure Redondo_Beach-D. City Clerk. Changes in Responsibilities and Requirements. -- City of Redondo Beach
Shall the Redondo Beach City Charter be amended to authorize the City Clerk to hire and terminate his or her deputies, transfer responsibility for the administration of the financial affairs of the City, including the accounting function, from the City Clerk to the City Manager, and delete the accounting educational requirement for the position of City Clerk?

Should the City permit the construction of a power plant in the City of South Gate?

Measure West_Hollywood-A. Distribution of Condoms and Safer Sex Literature -- City of West Hollywood
Shall an ordinance be adopted that: (1) mandates that businesses which derive more than 50% of their revenue from the sale of alcohol for on-site consumption make condoms and safer sex literature available at no charge to their patrons, (2) if they fail to do so, subjects such businesses to revocation of their City permit for on-site alcohol consumption pursuant to procedures provided for in the West Hollywood Municipal Code, and (3) mandates that the City annually acquire and distribute not fewer than 500,000 condoms and safer sex literature to such alcohol serving businesses?
