Pat South was first elected Warren County Commissioner in November of 1992, taking office January 3, 1993 and is the first woman ever elected to the Commission in Warren County. She currently serves of President of the Board of Commissioners and has served in this capacity twice before, since taking office in 1993. Mrs. South was raised in Clearcreek Township, graduated in 1972 from Lebanon High School and attended Ohio State University, Sinclair College and Miami University, majoring in Nursing, then changing to Psychology and Business Administration. Mrs. South was formerly employed 5 years as President/CEO of the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, 9 years as Associate Director of Warren County Community Services/Council of Aging and served 6 years as an EMT/Firefighter for the Lebanon Division of Fire and Safety. She is also Vice President of her husband's business, Reliable Carpet Cleaning Company, Inc. which was started in 1987. Mrs. South and her husband Steve are the parents of two daughters, Aimee and Molly. They live in an 1840 circa home in Lebanon, spending leisure time with on-going renovation and flower gardening. They enjoy playing golf, cards and music. Mrs. South is a 33 year member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church. PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
