Health Care ReformBy Wayne E. CoatesCandidate for State Representative; District 32 | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
We need to bridge the health care gap of our financially disadvantaged seniors.I support expanding long-term care options for low-income seniors receiving Medicaid Assisted Living waivers. I propose to expand the Passport eligibility limited so more low-income seniors can qualify for home and community base care. We need to develop a statewide prescription drug-purchasing program to lower the cost of needed medicine to seniors. I support raising the homestead exemption income limits so more fixed-income and low-income seniors can lessen their tax burden from property revaluation. |
