That future includes providing the incentives for the growing of a good economic base, provision of adequate and affordable housing for its residents and workers, and creating planning tools and programs to control growth and make it respond to what the community wants in terms of quality and character. Its still up to decision makers to make wise use of these incentives and programs to preserve the character, services and quality of life in Oakdale for all its citizens... |
