I want to encourage economic development in California by improving the business climate for California's small businesses to create jobs and raise the per capita income.Economic Development - To encourage economic development for California's small businesses, 90% of which have less than 50 employees, my goals would be to: · Foster "start-up" businesses by eliminating the Corporate Tax (which is like an Alternative Minimum Tax). New businesses should not be required to pay taxes while operating at a loss. · Expand the California Incubator Enterprise Program to include the funding of business incubator development and provide an expanded seed-capital investment fund for start-up businesses. · Eliminate overlapping, conflicting, and unnecessary government regulations. |
