Gary Rummelhoff, San Jose Unified School District Board MemberMayor Sue Jackson believes that too many politicians are playing politics with our children's future. As our next Assemblywoman, Sue Jackson will work to build bi-partisan consensus towards fixing our schools and improving our children's education. Once elected Mayor Jackson will: Develop a long-range school construction plan to relieve current overcrowding and address future needs. Ensure smaller class sizes through grade 6. Increase teacher pay to attract and retain high-quality instructors. More charter schools and bring more control back to parents and teachers. Ensure that every child who graduates is proficient in math and can use a computer. Get serious about keeping gangs, guns and drugs out of our schools. |
