Greg Aghazarian's private sector innovation and public service leadership has been a dynamic force in San Joaquin County for many years. It is with this strong background that he seeks election to the California State Assembly, 17th District.

Greg is a third generation Stocktonian. He is a businessman, integrally involved with his family business "Aghazarian's". A Stockton landmark, "Aghazarian's" has been engaged in the apparel, alteration and reweaving business for 30 years.

He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1986 and from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 1993.

Currently, Greg serves as a Trustee on the Lincoln Unified School District Board of Trustees. Also, Greg sits on the San Joaquin County School Boards Association Executive Committee. Additionally, he is a Commissioner with the City of Stockton, Department of Parks and Recreation Board of Commissioners.

Reflecting his strong commitment to community service, Greg is an active member of Stockton Rotary, San Joaquin A+ (a public-private partnership for literacy and educational enhancement) and the San Joaquin County Partnership for Tomorrow (a public-private partnership promoting school-to-career programs).

Greg and his wife, Esther, make their home in Stockton. Esther and her family, the Murphys, are growers of varietal wine grapes in Farmington. Greg is the Republican nominee for the 17th Assembly District.
