Economic Development - Job Generation

By Dan Bilbrey

Candidate for Mayor; City of Tracy

This information is provided by the candidate
Promotion and Development of High Tech Job
With the development of Tracy's first High-Tech Park location, the recruitment and placement of a number of companies is a top priority. Local jobs will continue to support and meet the goals of the City's Housing - Job Balance. Local, high-tech, and high paying jobs is the next logical step in the goals of our current Urban Management Plan. The increase in local jobs will have a significant upside to our community: fewer commuters traveling into the bay area, high paying positions, spin-off support companies creating additional levels of employment opportunties, positive impact on the local economyu, and positive social impact through short commute/drive time to work, increased family time and opportunities for community involvement.
