How will I stay in touch with the voters in Carlsbad?By Kelli M. MoorsCandidate for Board Member; Carlsbad Unified School District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
I will make myself available at community events, by meeting with parent groups, via telephone and e-mail, and through a website, http://www.kellimoors.com. This will allow me to seek out the priorities and concerns of those I represent. Many people in Carlsbad do not know much about the school board - what it does or who its members are. Since one of my main goals is to give a voice to all the citizens of Carlsbad I am making it a priority to be available and accessible. I want to have as much contact as possible so that I can bring a broad perspective of views to the board's decision making process. Technology is an important tool in today's business world and I believe it is an important tool in education, as well. I will be applying that knowledge as I launch my personal website. During the campaign I will use it to reach more voters with my message. Once elected I will maintain the site to communicate with those interested in Carlsbad's schools. I will update it with news of the school board's activities and will include a "contact me" feature to encourage communication with voters. Watch for it! |
