Replace Manchester ResortsBy Randall HortonCandidate for City Council; City of Oceanside | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Replace Manchester with someone who will finish the job on time.Manchester cannot obtain financing for its Oceanside project until it does so for 2 San Diego hotels, which are at a standstill due to a criminal investigation of San Diego City Council Member Valerie Stallings, litigation with JMI Realty, and an ever-increasing environmental contamination cleanup problem. Thus, Manchester-Oceanside is stalled. We need to cut loose of Manchester and begin seeking proposals for a new developer and a backup developer. If we don't do this, the land which has been vacant since the last election will be vacant until the next election! |
