Biographical Highlights
  • Occupation: Mayor
  • I have a B.S. degree in Chemistry and a MBA fromUCLA, I have been married for 40 years and lived in Tehachapi for 30 years and raised 4 children.
  • One of my greatest successes is an annexitaion which gives the city an additional one million dollars yearly.
  • As water is such a critical issue was pleased we were able to obtain additional water rights for the city.
  • Also am proud of the fact that Tehachapi met the state mandated recycling program and we are the top recycler in the state.
  • Was also successful in getting a $l00,000 grant for planting and beautication in the city.
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Will continue efforts to further expand law enforcement and fire protection programs.
  • Continue and work to keep our clean, crisp air and pollution out.
  • Will be working on street maintenance and paving.
