Commitment/Vision

By Deborah Campbell

Candidate for Director; West Contra Costa Health Care District

This information is provided by the candidate
To accomplish these goals, I will oversee continued quality assurance and accountabilty. I have the community's best interest in mind, not vested for-profit business corporations. Your vote for me will send a strong message to those in decision-making positions. If I elected,I will make every effort to be accountable to you and ensure that your health care services are accessible.
I am committed to working with the residents and the community. I organized and lead the petition drive and public demonstration with the Richmond Community to successfully stop the closure of Kaiser Richmond ,and helped to stop the closure of Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Oakland.I was active in the unsuccessful efforts to prevent the closures of Doctor's Hospital in Pinole and UC Standford's Mt.Zion Medical Center in San Francisco.

I intend to work with the Board and community to develop a common vision that would prevent further erosion of healthcare services.I hope to improve the overall quality of medical services in West County.
