Dear Pinole Voters:

I believe that our city is on a continuum of great success and opportunity. As your Mayor and Councilmember, I am proud of my accomplishments in the area of economic development, public safety and fiscal accountability.

OUR LOCAL ECONOMY IS THRIVING. A renaissance of Old Town has begun with a Farmer's Market, summer concerts and new street and traffic safety improvements. Pinole Vista Shopping Center continues to generate over 900 local jobs and $1.5 million in sales tax revenue.

OUR STREETS AND NEIGHBORHOODS ARE SAFER. Police and fire services are at full-authorized levels, aiding in a prompt emergency response.

OUR CITY HAS A BALANCED BUDGET AND A PRUDENT $1.36 MILLION RESERVE. We will continue to maintain a fiscally conservative policy on expenditures and revenue projections.

Let's keep Pinole safe, prosperous and a special place for raising our families.

I ask for your support and vote.

COUNCILMEMBER MARIA ALEGRIA
