Position Paper 1...

By James Hester

Candidate for Council Member; City of Sierra Madre

This information is provided by the candidate
Positions I believe are crucial for Sierra Madre:
I believe:

-in maintaining and protecting strong residential neighborhoods.

-in maintaining Sierra Madre's small town village atmosphere.

-in strengthening and bettering our schools.

-in fiscal responsibility.

-there should not be a high school at the top of Baldwin Avenue, based on what is now known.

-the issue of speeding on our residential streets should be addressed.

-there should be only appropriate development.

-in fixing our city's streets.

-in civility and congeniality within city government.

-all citizens are entitled to be heard and their opinions considered.

-in equal treatment for seniors, youth and all segments of the community.

-Sierra Madre to be a community open to all. If elected, I look forward to working hard for you again.
