Personal Data: Judge Schweikert is 46 years old and was born and raised in Cincinnati. He has been married for 24 years to his wife Patti, and has two children, Emili attending University of Cincinnati, Grant attending United States Naval Academy. He practiced law in Cincinnati and was appointed as Court Administrator of the Municipal and Common Pleas Courts there in 1981 where he served until 1995. He was appointed to the Hamilton County Municipal Court bench from the sixth judicial district in February 1995 and subsequently was elected to that position in November 1995 to a term ending on December 31, 1999. He served as Administrative/Presiding Judge of the 14 Judge Hamilton County Municipal Court for two years in 1997-98. He was appointed to the Court of Common Pleas March 8, 1999 for an unexpired term and will stand for election in 2000.

During his 14 year service as Court Administrator, Judge Schweikert was active in the establishment of numerous innovative programs dealing with Automation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Probation Services, Pre-trial Services, Jury Management, Substance Abuse, and Jail Overcrowding.

Education:

High School: Judge Schweikert graduated from Oak Hills High School, Cincinnati, Ohio in 1970

College: Judge Schweikert recieved his Batchelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio in June 1974.

He attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University
Graduated May 1980, and was awarded a Juris Doctor Degree
