Married, three (3) sons.

EDUCATION:

University of Cincinnati, 1949-1950
Ohio State University, B.S.C.E. 1958

MILITARY:

U.S. Navy - 1950-1954, Electronics Technician

EXPERIENCE:

1958-1959: V.N. Holderman & Sons. Office calculations, quantities, structure, layout, falsework design, Party Chief, survey crew, 1-70, I-71, 1-75, U.S. 30-B, Mansfield.

1959-1983: Ohio Department of Transportation, District #8. Assistant Bridge Engineer, Operations Engineer, Assistant Planning Engineer, Planning and Design Engineer, Deputy Director - February, 1977-January 1983.

1983-Present: Hamilton County Engineer's Office. Deputy County Engineer, Chief Deputy County Engineer, appointed Hamilton County Engineer as of March, 1992 to replace retiring County Engineer Donald Schramm, elected Hamilton County Engineer in November, 1992 and 1996 for four (4) year terms.

Registered Professional Engineer since May, 1961
Registered Professional Surveyor since 1964
