Republican Party County Central Committee; Supervisorial District 2

This information is provided by the candidate

I came to California from New Jersey in 1989 to attend UCLA. At UCLA, the first organization I joined was the Bruin College Republicans. I served on the Board of Directors of the California College Republicans for four years.

After graduating, I spent a year and a half working for the Center for the Study of Popular Culture, a think tank run by leftist-turned-conservative David Horowitz. While working for CSPC, I ran for State Senate in the 26th District against Democrat Diane Watson.

In 1995, I joined the campaign to pass Proposition 209, the California Civil Rights Initiative and then briefly returned home to New Jersey to get one of my local Republican legislators re-elected.

I returned to California in January 1996 to manage the County Supervisorial primary campaign of Orange County Assemblyman Mickey Conroy. It was while working on this campaign that I had the pleasure of meeting my girlfriend Laurie Hittle.

I moved to Ventura County that summer to serve as a Field Representative for Assemblyman Nao Takasugi where I worked on transportation, law enforcement and insurance issues. I left Assemblyman Takasugi's office to manage Rich Sybert's Assembly race in 1998 and worked as an internet consultant before joining Need2Buy.com, a business-to-business e-commerce website currently specializing in the electronic components industry, last March.
