Private property rights are the basis on which our county was formed. We need to maintain as many of those rights as we possibly can. The set of rights we gain with the ownership of property should be maintained throughout the duration of our possession. From time to time, the public good needs to be addressed and may reduce your bundle of rights. When this happens, the property owner should be justly compensated for the loss. I believe in the free enterprise system, and in less government regulation.
