Full Biography for Michael JohnsonCandidate for |
As a means of introduction let me simply state that my name is Michael A. Johnson and I am seeking election to the Greenhills Village Council. I was born April 19, 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and I grew up less than two miles from my current residence. Aside from a brief period at Fort Knox KY, when I served in the Ohio Army National Guard, I have lived in this area my entire life. In 1942 I married my wonderful wife Joan, and have been a resident of the village since that day. With regards to education, I graduated from Mt. Healthy High School in 1986, hold an Associate of Arts from the University of Cincinnati (1993), and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Thomas More College (1996). I am currently enrolled at Thomas More College where I am completing my Masters of Business Administration. During my tenure at the University of Cincinnati I served as Student Senator for my Campus, and was elected President of my Campus's Student Government. I have held many different positions in my life from construction laborer, to administrative specialist, to homebuilder. Currently I am a Production Manager for Convergys Inc., and I am responsible for the day to day operation of a two hundred-person call center, which generates over twenty million dollars a year in residues. In brief, I stand for maintaining our distinctive greenbelt and preventing any further development in this precious legacy. I stand for reducing the village tax burden, and I intend to act as a watchdog for the people of this village to ensure that the resources you give us are used in the most efficient and productive manner possible. If you wish to learn more about my position on other issues, please feel free to e-mail me at Greenhills_mike2@msn.com.
