Public transportation is very vital to every
community. There are a lot of people who do not have their own means of
transportation and depend on public transportation to get to work, social
events, appointments. It's a way of saving money and protecting the environment
It makes life a little easier for some people.
2. Would you be in favor of county-wide campaign finance regulations that would provide for public matching funds, limit campaign contributions and provide for more disclosure? State your opinions on these ideas; whether you would support or oppose them.

I would support these ideas. They lead the way for a fair campaign to all candidates in all communities. It controls the
balance of power.
3. What are the benefits/detriments to land use planning prior to zoning decisions?

Answer from Sharon K. Chachoff:
A well balanced community provides for a well balanced
future of economic growth and helps to avoid problems in the future. Benefits heavily outweigh detriments, which is only the prediction of the future. No one is perfect.
