1. What are your views regarding the need for public transportation in your community to promote access to employment throughout the region?
|
Answer from Bernie Fiedeldey:
Public transportation throughout Colerain Township appears to be adequate at this time. If, in the future, those requirements change, I will address them as needed.
Answer from Keith N. Corman:
No response
2. Would you be in favor of county-wide campaign finance regulations that would provide for public matching funds, limit campaign contributions and provide for more disclosure? State your opinions on these ideas; whether you would support or oppose them.
|
Answer from Keith N. Corman:
No response
Answer from Bernie Fiedeldey:
I do not feel that taxpayer dollars should be used for campaign financing. I do believe in campaign contribution limits as well as full disclosure of those contributions.
3. What are the benefits/detriments to land use planning prior to zoning decisions?
|
Answer from Keith N. Corman:
I believe Land Use Planning is very essential for proper zoning decisions. It is the very foundation in which to properly build a strong economic and civil community. Without it, there will be complete chaos.
Answer from Bernie Fiedeldey:
The benefits to land use planning prior to zoning is that it provides a guideline for zoning and establishes a framework for future decision making. In Colerain Township, the detriment is that resident input is not allowed during the development of the land use plan.
