As your T.I.D. director, I have helped reduce your electrical rates and improve your service. We currently provide some of the lowest electrical and irrigation rates in California. During my two terms in office, we began to restructure the T.I.D. so that it operates more efficiently. As a result, we now manage and operate the T.I.D. like a business rather than a governmental agency. As we continue these changes, we will be able to further reduce electrical rates, and remain highly competitive in a changing marketplace. I look forward to the challenges ahead of us. Water is the life blood of our valley's agriculture. I strive to maintain a balance between the needs of agricultural irrigation and the salmon spawning on the Tuolumne River. I will continue to protect our district's water rights at the local, state, and federal levels. As in the past, I will respond to your concerns and work hard to improve the Turlock Irrigation District. Thank you for your support.
