Youth and Recreation

I support increasing facilities for recreation, recognizing the surge of young families, as well as the increased awareness of the need for exercise for all ages.

I support the efforts of our Youth Commission. Not only does the Commission offer the Council an opportunity to hear their issues, but the Commission can gather information, support and leadership within their schools.

I support addressing the need for after school programs especially at our junior highs. Working in partnership with the schools, non-profits and other organizations, this service offers our residents healthy, fulfilling alternatives.
