Biographical Highlights
  • Occupation: Incumbent. Elected in 1995, currently Board President
  • BA Degree in Business/Electronics from San Francisco State
  • In 1998, along with all other current Board members, rolled the Special Fire Tax to ZERO where it is today
  • Served as a Firefighter in Marin, and come from a family of Firefighters
  • Lifelong Marin resident; 25 year resident of the Novato Fire District
  • Recent field experience during the July Multi Agency Disaster Drill with the Novato Fire District personnel and other local agency teams
  • Served in Vietnam; active in Community services; retired from the Pacific Telesis Companies
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Continue to maintain the exceptional quality of fire protection and emergency medical services at the most efficient cost
  • Continue to provide public education via our H.E.A.R.T. and Disaster Preparedness programs, Open-house, career day and Safety Fairs
  • Continue to study and provide for the needs of our growing and changing community
