  • Has managed 360 employees and a $40 Million budget (each roughly twice the size of the entire city of Mill Valley).
  • Master of Science, with graduate work in public administration.
  • President, American Public Works Association, Northern California.
  • Has brought, through grants, millions of dollars to Mill Valley for road and building improvements, this money would have come directly from Mill Valley tax payers.
  • Secured funding to install a mid-block traffic signal at Camino Alto, for the seniors at The Redwoods.
  • Professional civil engineer, licensed to practice geotechnical and traffic engineering.
  • Department President, Statewide League of California Cities.
  • Middle School Funding Task Force.
  • Mill Valley Library Building Committee.
  • Block Captain for emergency response.
  • Director of Mill Valley Rotary Club, 3 years.
  • Worked with the staff of Mill Valley, the State and Marin County to resolve traffic and environmental problems.
  • Ed is a Mill Valley community gardener (and cat lover!).
