Arguments For Measure M | Arguments Against Measure M |
In 1995 the voters of West Marin overwhelmingly approved a special
paramedic tax in order to provide West Marin with an adequate level
of paramedic service.
Measure M, if approved, will continue to provide West Marin with Full paramedic service it authorizes the Board of Supervisors to continue the current assessment of $40.00 per household per year for the next four years. This measure requires approval by a majority of those voting in the election. The proceeds of this tax will continue to fund Paramedic Units for all of West Marin. Failure to pass this measure may result in the elimination of paramedic service to West Marin. We urge your "yes" vote to keep this vital service available to all of West Marin. s/ Kevin Hicks Bolinas Fire Chief s/ Mark White Stinson Beach Fire Protection District s/ Philip O'Brien Stinson Beach Fire Protection District s/ Michael W.
