- Routine access to educational and guidance counseling
-
Currently the general school population receives minimal counseling based on problem solving instead of proactive or preventative efforts of behalf of the children.
- More and accessible After-School Programs
-
A large number of Culver City Unified School District parents are concerned with the well being and safety of their children after school. Many do not have needed child care or cannot afford to send their child to existing programs.
- Making teacher training revelant
-
Currently, schools may take up to about 7 days for teacher training through the School Improvement Program. Parents, and some teachers question what takes place on these pupil free days and how is what is learned actually showing up in the classroom.
